M Go Tailgate

We’re back in action at the Big House this Saturday, October 24, as Michigan host the Indiana Hoosiers for a 12:00 PM (Noon) kickoff! It’s Parents Weekend on campus, so expect a full house, extra energy, and plenty of proud family members joining the fun around Ann Arbor! And Fox Big Noon Kickoff will be somewhere around the stadium, they have had it at Pioneer the last few times.

Hello, are you new here? If so, here are the details you need to know. We run M Go Tailgate for fun—this is not a business or a catered affair. If you brought your parents or family in for the weekend, they are more than welcome! Ask whoever invited you for the password to sign up or see the location link above. To keep things simple, we ask for a contribution for the main course along with pop and water so everything is bought, prepped, and ready on time.

So here is what you need to do:

• Find the sign up link at the bottom of the post
• Use the magic password to access the signup
• Select YES or NO for your RSVP
• Add in the number of adults and children in your party (including visiting parents!)
• Select the number of adults and children for the main course contribution
• Select side dish and/or dessert for your party size
• Select the number for keg beer/seltzer if desired

Menu: Return of a few different things from previous tailgates. It is Parents weekend so what else would we do other than a variety of things we served before. We have had the ability to safely store away some of the options so depending on when you get there you might find burgers, or some sausages to nibble on or even some cheese steaks. As always, we will have hotdogs available for the kids, or even that stubborn high schooler who refuses to eat anything else but burgers and dogs… Outside of the main course, pop, and water, we ask that you contribute sides, deserts or whatever surprise dishes you want to show off. Be sure to bring an appropriate amount for your size party.

Please be sure to include what you’re bringing in the signup comments so we don’t end up with ten bags of chips and Kroger cookies! If you have questions, ask one of us before Friday.

As a reminder, please check in with Ken or Rich when you arrive—especially with extra family and Parents Weekend guests visiting! It helps us settle up and make sure everyone feels right at home.

📍 Location: We’ll do our best to snag the usual spot, but as you know it’s always a bit of musical chairs.

⏰ Tailgate starts: Roughly 9 AM for College Game Day and (Food ready around 10:00 AM).

💵 Contribution: $10/adult covers the mains, pop, and water. Kids discounted as usual. If cost is ever an issue, just let a host know — we’d always rather have you there. If you plan on just stopping to say hello, or not eating the main course, no contribution is required.

Other tailgate notes:

• Grill Access: Grill will be available for anyone with dietary needs or DIY cooking.
• KEG BEER & SELTZER: Available again this week for a $10 contribution. Be sure to sign up on the link.
• BYOB still applies: Community blue cooler rules: add some, take some.
• Booze stash: Bring what you want to share. We do not always put it all out, so just ask.
