M Go Tailgate

We survived! After a very wet first half of the day last Saturday, the weather cleared up and we were treated to a great second half on the field to wrap up another solid victory.  Did anyone else get nervous during the first half?

Tailgate Start & Parking Lot Info

• Tailgate starts at 11:00 AM! Food will be served ahead of kickoff so everyone has plenty of time to eat, socialize, and head into the Big House.
• Lot Opening: The lot opens at its usual time—6:00 AM. Since that’s pretty early, if you arrive right at 11am, you might have to wake up your hosts!

Menu: This week we’re featuring a tailgate favorite: Sloppy Joes!

• Bring Sloppy Joes & Tailgate Free: If you make a batch of Sloppy Joes to bring and share with the tailgate, you will not have to pay the main course contribution this week (assuming you bring an appropriate amount for your group size)!
• Planning Ahead: For those who prefer to just pay the contribution rather than cooking, please let us know early on the signup link so we can order or make plenty to cover everyone.

As always, we will have hotdogs for the kids, or even that stubborn high schooler who refuses to eat anything else… Outside of the main course, pop, and water, we ask that you continue to contribute sides, desserts, and whatever surprise dishes you want to show off.

Please be sure to include what you’re bringing in the signup comments so we don’t end up with a dozen bags of chips and the same containers of Kroger frosted cookies (again). If you have questions, ask one of us before Saturday.

📍 Location: We’ll do our best to snag the usual spot, but as you know it’s sometimes a bit of musical chairs.

⏰ Tailgate starts: 11:00 AM (Lot opens at 6:00 AM).

💵 Contribution: $15/adult covers the mains, pop, and water (free if you bring a batch of Sloppy Joes for your group!). Kids discounted as usual. If cost is ever an issue, just let a host know — we’d always rather have you there. If you plan on just stopping to say hello, or not eating the main course, no contribution is required.

If you found your way here, ask whoever invited you for the password to sign up or see the location link above. To make things easy, we ask for a contribution for the main course along with pop and water. This makes sure the main course is there and ready to go for everyone.

So here is what you need to do:

• Find the sign up link at the bottom of the post
• Use the magic password to access the signup
• Select YES or NO for your RSVP
• Add in the number of adults and children in your party
• Select the main course contribution OR sign up to bring Sloppy Joes
• Select side dish and/or dessert for your party size
• Select the number for keg beer/seltzer if desired

Other tailgate notes:

• Grill Access: Grill will be available for anyone with dietary needs or DIY cooking.  Both flattop griddle and spaces to head up items in a pan or pot.
• KEG BEER & SELTZER: We believe it will be available again this week for a $10 contribution. Be sure to sign up. Brands and flavors are TBD based on availability.
• BYOB still applies: Community blue cooler rules SUSPENDED: please take some.
• Booze stash: Bring what you want to share. We do not always put it all out, so just ask.
