It’s that time of year again! The cool fall breeze is right around the corner, football season is officially upon us, and we couldn’t be more excited to get the crew back together for another unforgettable year of Michigan Football tailgating. Whether you’ve been hanging out under the tents with us for years or you’re planning your first visit, we can’t wait to see familiar faces and welcome new ones to the lot.

Welcome to the New M Go Tailgate Website! As you might have noticed, we’ve given the site a fresh coat of paint for the 2026 season! We’ve streamlined everything to make it easier to find weekly tailgate updates, check game-day details, and sign up. Take a look around, bookmark the page, and get ready for a great fall ahead.

• Never Miss an Update: We added a subscription option at the bottom of the page! Enter your email down there to get instant alerts whenever new game posts and signup forms go live so you never miss out on securing your spot.
• Weekly Schedule Goal: Our goal this season is to have the tailgate post and signup form up on the Sunday before each game. Keep an eye on your inbox (or check back here) on Sundays to get your RSVPs in early!

Cooler Giveaway! To help kick off the new season (and clean out our equipment storage), we have a few extra coolers to give away! If you’re in need of a solid tailgating cooler, drop us a note or talk to Ken or Rich during the first couple of games to claim one. First come, first served! We also have the old large bluetooth speaker. Might not be the best on battery these days, but it works when plugged in. The cable audio input is a bit sketchy and the microphone has never been used.

Hello, are you new here? If so, here are the details you need to know to get in on the action. We run M Go Tailgate purely for fun—this is a passion project and a community effort, not a business or a catered affair! If you found your way here, ask whoever invited you for the magic password to sign up for home game tailgates. To keep things running smoothly, we ask for a small contribution for weeks you plan to join in on the main meal, pop, and water. This ensures all the food is prepped and hot on time so nobody is waiting around hungry right before kickoff.

How to Participate This Season: When weekly posts go live ahead of each home game, here is all you need to do:

• Find the signup link at the bottom of the weekly game post.
• Enter the magic password to access the signup form (if you forgot it or are new, reach out to one of the hosts or whoever invited you!).
• RSVP YES or NO so we have an accurate head count.
• Enter the number of adults and children in your party.
• Select main course contributions for those eating.
• Pick a side dish, dessert, or week-specific item to bring for your party size.
• Opt-in for the keg beer/seltzer contribution if you plan to drink from the taps.

General Tailgate Info & Housekeeping

• Check-In: Please remember to check in with Ken or Rich when you arrive each week. It helps us settle up contributions, track headcount, and put names to new faces.
• Tents & Infrastructure Fund: We’re continuing to collect voluntary donations throughout the season to help cover parking passes, equipment upkeep, propane, and overall tailgate upgrades. If you’d like to chip in, see Ken or Rich at the lot.
• BYOB & Blue Cooler: The community blue cooler is back—add some, take some!
• Grill Access: Always open for anyone with dietary needs or DIY cooking.
• Location & Timing: As always, we’ll do our best to snag our usual spot, though lot entry is always a game of musical chairs. Official start times will be posted weekly depending on kickoff, but if you show up early while flags are going up, expect to be handed a tent pole or a cooler!

We’re looking forward to raising the flags, catching up with everyone, and cheering on the Wolverines all season long.
