Well that is a great way to start the home season!

First of all a special shout out to those who went the extra mile to help out last week.  Especially Brian and his friend who were there to help setup by 7 am and stayed until the last bit of gear was packed up.  Thanks to those who chipped in to help with the cost of new supplies, including a new flagpole. The MGoTailgate Club of Greater Ann Arbor appreciates your support.

As we head into week 2 we have another noon game so the plan is to keep the tailgate the same as last week.  Kickoff is at noon so we will start with dogs and brats before the game with the grill shutting down about 11 so the hosts can go into the game. We will fire up the grill after the game for burgers and the remaining brats and dogs.

This week we will be missing Ken and Matt so we can use an extra hand on the grill.  If you are interested just step up to take a turn.  Hopefully we can still figure out to work the TVs.

Remember, the tailgate is a community effort. Please be sure to contribute appropriate food and drink to cover your party so that we do not run out of food. There are a few items for cash contributions, but please do this before Thursday morning as we shop Thursday night [so we can pack the cars up on Friday!].  This makes it easier for those who do not want to carry in items including beverages.

As in the past, we have added a few items to the tailgate this year and can always use some financial help covering the costs.
