Thanksgiving Week is not yet upon us, but we are already thinking about the final home game of the season. Not that we are looking past the game at Maryland this week, but soon we will start the countdown to the OSU Tailgate (and game of course). So get your game plan ready for the 3:30 game this week and then the Traditional NOON football as it has become on the Saturday after Turkey Day.

THE PLANNING IS UNDERWAY:
The sign up for the Chili Cook-off tailgate is now live.
We expect a BIG crowd so please indicate if you are coming and your best guess at #s so we can plan accordingly.
For the REGULARS (or semi-regulars) who will not be coming PLEASE indicate if you will not be coming.
Sign up for sides and desserts as usual. $10 to cover the basics and some other things we are throwing in this week.

BREAKFAST:
Breakfast again for the early arrivers.
We will have breakfast, mimosas, bloodys, and whatever people bring along for the morning festivities.

SOME BREAKFAST REMINDERS:
We plan to start by 8:30 so be sure to sign up that you will be joining us early.

SOME ITEMS FOR THE CHILI COOK-OFF:

• We plan to have chili heated up and serving around 10:30 and then during and after the game.
• Note if you will be making a chili and what kind you are concocting in the comments
• Sign up and let us know ASAP so we plan crock pot power and transport accordingly.
• We will have pots and pans to warm up your chili and keep it warm in the crock pots. Some people have just brought chili in a heavy ziplock bag in past years
• We will have the heaters for keeping everyone warm and straw for the ground.
• We will have the condiments for the chili (cheese, sour cream, onions, etc.)
• Tom Tom tamales from Chicago may be making another appearance – still sorting out if we can get them or not
• We may be firing up the deep fryer for “Chili Tater Tots” too
• We will have some burgers and dogs as well. Be sure to make a chilidog!

In years past we have had many many varieties of chili- thank you. See Rich or Ken when you arrive with your Chili. People have also gotten creative with corn bread so keep it up and try a new recipe for the group!

BEER: Sign up for the Atwater beer. Should be at Dirty Blond and Cherry Seltzer based on demand. Be sure to get your wristband

Final Signup Reminders: Please be sure to signup on Signup Genius if you are coming or not. At the Indiana game we had 3x as many people as signed up. We are planning to have wristbands for this game. For anyone who might not have caught up with Ken or Rich for the last tailgate you can always reach out to us to settle up. Thanks.

Ok people, lets shake last week off and get back to it, we have a home game and a M Go Tailgate to plan. After last week’s disappointing outcome it is time to regroup for the next home game and our second to last tailgate of the year.  So who is excited for a night game?  As usual, the lot will open at noon and we will do our best to get our regular spot. It will likely take us until 2 pm to get setup. For those who come early we plan to have the heaters running and will do burgers and dogs on the grill for the afternoon.

For the main course this week were planning on bringing back the Mexican fiesta, but with such a small turnout signed up so far we are going back to burgers and dogs. We will be able to cook something up once we get setup or depending on when people get there. Looking forward to seeing everyone and all the wonderful side dishes and desserts you bring.

The plan is to have the option for Atwater Dirty Blonde and Cherry Seltzer. Be sure to sign up so we know we have enough people to cover.
